◎指1913年7月孫中山發動的討伐袁世凱的戰爭。與辛亥革命相對而言，故稱二次革命。

二次革命即稱討袁之役、癸醜之役、贛寧之役。1913年3月20日，國會開會前夕，國民黨代理理事長宋教仁被殺。4月，袁世凱又非法簽定善後大借款，準備發動內戰，消滅南方革命力量。孫中山看清袁世凱的反動麵目，從日本回國，力主武裝討袁。
